Coming from Seattle, it seems a little pricey, but we always come back because we love the hotel and especially love the neighborhood! The News Review at Canal Cafe Theatre (walking distance) is a great find for Sunday evening when theatres are closed.

The bathroom was a bit of a squeeze! But overall the room was comfortable and the staff really friendly, welcoming and relaxed. Give the cat a tickle under the chin please.

We enjoyed our stay and all of your kind staff. We both became very ill and everyone there was so helpful. Thank you all so much for making us comfortable in a very bad situation. We look forward to our next visit. A special thanks to Natalia for all of her help.

Very Good indeed! I like the hotel and the area a lot, will recommend your hotel to friends and customers. I know the area pretty well, used to live around the corner some 25 years ago. What your customers might like is a 'walking/running map' . Also a kind of VIP card, where you get a discount or a free meal/drink after 5 or 10 nights at the colonnade.

I had booked a massage by e mail and for some resone not seen the reply confiming this it would have been helpful if the checkin staff and reminded me of this

My favourite hotel in London which I have recommended already several times.

I would prefer breakfast to be inclusive in the room price - or for that to be an option when booking - rather than having to sign for it each morning.

Include the breakfast for the child when you pay 40 pounds for an extra bed in the room.

I think in this day and age internet connection should be included as standard. I really appreciated the bottle of water each evening. The first day of my stay my room was not cleaned and on one occasion only a partial roll of toilet paper was left and there was no spare. These are only minor things and I very much enjoyed my stay. Thank you. I will certainly be back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would like to particularly commend Agnes for her professional, pleasant and helpful attitude. We will definitely recommend the Colonnade and plan to return.

We loved the hotel and its surrounding area. I would always recommend it and would definately stay again though, perhaps, in a different room. We could not see outside from our room so next time we would simply request a room with a view outside. We loved the hotel, especially its owner (Minnie).

Would apreciate the option to have own tea/coffee making facilities in room. Vey helpful & service orientated staff.

Hi, The hotel and room was beautiful but the staff, although efficient and helpful, seemed a little cold. We had just come from a hotel in Paris where the staff were so warm and friendly, there was a marked difference. We were disappointed that the sweets in the jars were £5 a jar and that wifi wasn't included in the room price.

The staff went above and beyond to make my stay absolutely perfect! How wonderful that excellent customer service still exists.

First, the bed and pillows were fantastic. After a hiking and archaelogical tour of Crete we really needed it. Staff at desk and in the restarant were wonderful. Much better than our stay of a few years ago when Eaton had just taken over. At that time we vowed we would never stay...arrogant and poor treatment does not even come close to describing it. However, this time we were most pleasantly surprised. Also, it's great to see Minnie. Loved Mouse. My suggestions would be as follows: A. A hairdryer in the room. B. Room was incredibly crowded....room 18 I believe. Take out a chair. We couldn't even get in the closet.

We asked for an extra bed for our 8 yr old, I found that this made the room a little cramped, may have been better with an upgrade. (larger Room)

Detailed written instructions for getting to Paddington Station on foot rather than a photocopy of a map would be helpful. Otherwise we had a great stay. PS. We thought Minnie was great.

My wife was complaining for the lack of a hair dryer in the room.

Thank you for a nice stay. We are very satisfied with our stay and with the small, but important details with a nice staff looking after us and the newspaper and a glass of water in the room, and helping to find an adapter and genuine interest to make us feel good, is why we have put excellent in the overall quality of our stay. The room was very clean and well looked after. We found a recommendation of The Colonnade in a norwegian newspaper that was very good and we agree that the stay was super. The only thing was that it was quite cold in the breakfast-room and it could be a little caotic in the morning to get a table and we had to wait for the bread to be ready. A little detail, but we are sure that we will come back, may be with friends.
